The CMA Country Music Association have announced the full list of nominees for this year’s CMA Awards – its 57th edition – ahead of the official ceremony in November.

Topping the list is Lainey Wilson, who is up for a jaw-dropping nine awards across seven categories. She’s nominated twice for Single Of The Year (thanks to her own track Heart Like A Truck, as well as her similarly titled HARDY team-up Wait In The Truck) and Musical Event Of The Year (both for collaborative efforts, one being that HARDY joint and the other being Save Me with Jelly Roll), with singular nods for Entertainer Of The Year, Female Vocalist Of The Year, Album Of The Year (with Bell Bottom Country), Song Of The Year (with Heart Like A Truck), and Music Video Of The Year (with the HARDY joint).

Tailing right behind her is Jelly Roll, who in addition to his co-nod with Lainey for Musical Event Of The Year, has a further extra nominations to his name: Male Vocalist Of The Year, New Artist Of The Year, Single Of The Year (for Need A Favor) and Music Video Of The Year (also for Need A Favor). Luke Combs and HARDY both tie in third place with a total of four nominations each, while Ashley McBryde, Chris Stapleton and Morgan Wallen have all racked up three nods.

The 2023 CMA Awards will be held at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday November 8, hosted by Luke Bryan (a two-time winner of the CMA Award for Entertainer Of The Year) and NFL superstar Peyton Manning.
