After forming a fast friendship on tour in the UK last year, country artists Kezia Gill and Imogen Clark are reuniting for a co-headline tour across Australia this October.

The duo caught up recently at CMC Rocks, where Kezia Gill had just landed after performing at London’s C2C Festival. Despite the jet lag, she was full of praise for Aussie country fans and the festival atmosphere. “It’s wild how similar the energy is,” she said. “Great music, great outfits, great beer, it feels like home, just with better weather” she laughed.
Imogen Clark echoed the sentiment, adding that while both countries have incredibly warm audiences, UK fans stand out for their deep appreciation of lyrics. “They really care about the storytelling. You can feel them leaning in and connecting with the meaning behind every song,” she said.
The pair’s natural chemistry on stage was matched offstage as well. What started as a professional connection quickly turned into a genuine friendship, complete with road trip banter, movie quotes, and even crashing at each other’s homes. “We just clicked immediately,” Clark shared. “It felt like we’d known each other for years.”
Wanting to dive back into touring together, when the chance arose to tackle Australia together, it was a resounding yes from both girls. Their upcoming Australian tour will reflect that same energy, blending individual performances with shared moments on stage. While full details are still under wraps, both artists hinted that a creative collaboration might be on the horizon. “Let’s just say there could be something in the works,” Clark teased.
