Kane Brown was hit in the crotch by a flying boot while performing at Wichita’s Intrust Bank Arena on his The Drunk or Dreaming Tour.

Brown was in the middle of performing One Thing Right, his 2019 collaboration with the dance DJ Marshmello. After being hit, he immediately doubled over, took a knee, and then hilariously sang, ‘I've been at the wrong place at the wrong time’ and the rest of the song while lying on his back.

After finishing the song, Brown got back up, said he needed a minute and walked it off. “Golly! Hit me with the heel! I felt that!” he said, also asking if the boot was expensive. According to TMZ, being a good sport, Brown later signed the offending boot and handed it back into the crowd.

Brown recently delivered a rendition of Garth Brooks’ 1990-released Friends in Low Places during a recent concert performance. "A little Garth brooks 🤷🏽‍♂️🔥," he captioned on social media.

The performance even prompted numerous replies suggesting a Brown and Brooks duet.

"Blame it all on my roots / I showed up in boots / And ruined your black-tie affair / The last one to know, the last one to show / I was the last one you thought you'd see there," he sings.

He also shared a snippet of his cover of Ben E. King’s classic hit, Stand By Me.

In other news, Brown recently co-hosted the 2023 CMT Music Awards with Kelsea Ballerini. Following his performance of Thank God with his wife Katelyn Brown, the couple made history as the first husband and wife duo to win the coveted ‘Video of the Year’ award.

Brown also made his acting debut on the action-drama television series, Fire Country. He plays Robin, an enigmatic train-hopping outlaw who ends up helping injured people at the scene of a train crash.
