Kane Brown will make his acting debut on Fire Country. Brown plays Robin, an enigmatic train-hopping outlaw who ends up helping injured people at the scene of a train crash.

Fire Country was created by Max Thieriot, Tony Phelan and Joan Rater and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer for CBS. The action-drama television series premiered in 2022 and stars Thieriot, Kevin Alejandro, Jordan Calloway, Stephanie Arcila, Jules Latimer, Diane Farr and Billy Burke.

Fire Country is available to watch on Paramount+ in Australia or free on 10 Play.

According to Network 10, Fire Country is about: “Bode Donovan, a young convict seeking redemption, joins an unconventional prison release firefighting program in Northern California, where he and other inmates are partnered with elite firefighters to extinguish massive, unpredictable wildfires. It's a high-risk, high-reward assignment, and the heat is turned up when Bode is assigned to the program in his rural hometown, where he was once a golden all-American son until his troubles began. Five years ago, bode burned down everything in his life, leaving town with a big secret. Now he's back, with the rap sheet of a criminal and the audacity to believe in a chance for redemption.”

Brown’s episode is set to air in the US on April 7, just days after he co-hosts the 2023 CMT Music Awards with Kelsea Ballerini in Austin, Texas at Moody Center. In addition, he and his wife, Katelyn, will perform Thank God for the first time on broadcast television.

In July 2022, Brown told podcast host Elaina D. Smith that he had been working with a Los Angeles agent to make his aspirations of becoming an actor a reality.

He also shared that he recently auditioned for a part in the new Grease prequel, playing a new main character who takes “new guy” Danny Zuko under his wing before going on to pursue a singing career. The film, however, was cancelled, but he did receive a call back.
