Kane Brown is one of the many celebrities taking part in the “Squad Up” ad campaign for the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, alongside Nicki Minaj, Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, rapper Lil Baby and more.

Brown appears in a dark bar, surrounded by people raising a glass and echoing him as he sings during the mass sing-along, with each artist performing a different line.

The latest Call of Duty game is a continuation of the reboot of Infinity Ward's hit Modern Warfare series. It sees the return of the iconic operators of Task Force 141. Call of Duty Modern Warfare II will release worldwide on October 28, 2022, on PlayStation, XBox and PC platforms.

Brown is on record as being a huge gamer.

Earlier this year, his wife of four years, Katelyn Brown – who lends her vocals to his new single, Thank God, which currently sits at #20 on the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart – gifted Brown the ultimate gamers gift for Father’s Day – a retro PAC-Man machine.

Also, during his recent tour of Australia last month, the One Mississippi singer recounted the story on stage at the CMC Rocks Festival in Queensland, bemused by the potty mouthed fans, Brown joked with the crowd at how much Australians "love the C-word".

"I'm a huge gamer," explained Brown. "I bring my XBox everywhere. Last night I'm playing and I'm in the Australian servers and didn't notice. I'm playing a basketball game and I get invited to a party; four Australians and me and they had no idea who I am."

"The first thing I hear when I join the party is "what's up, you c*nt!"

Brown released his third studio album, Different Man, on September 9. The project features 17 songs, including his singles Like I Love Country Music, One Mississippi, Whiskey Sour and Grand.

Different Man follows Brown’s second studio album, 2018’s Experiment. In August of 2020, Brown released his EP, Mixtape Vol. 1, which included several singles such as Cool Again, Worldwide Beautiful, Worship You and Be Like That featuring Khalid and Swae Lee.
