When the headliners for CMC Rocks QLD 2022 were announced late last year, the excitement that Kane Brown was visiting Australia for the very first time was palpable. With the festival selling out in its first day on sale, it was heard loud and clear from fans that more shows Brown would be very welcomed.

Today, Potts Entertainment, Chugg Entertainment and Frontier Touring are excited to announce Brown will be performing headline shows at Melbourne's Margaret Court Arena on Saturday 17th September, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Tuesday 20th September and in New Zealand at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Sunday 25th September.

Joining Brown for his Australian shows is US country / hip hop artist Blanco Brown and fellow US vocal powerhouse trio Restless Road, who will also be appearing at Brown’s Auckland show.

An innovator in modern music, Brown has broken records with his crossover country / pop songs and his genre breaking collaborations since his 2015 breakthrough single Used To Love You Sober. Following the arrival of his self-titled, 2X Platinum debut album in November 2016, Brown has ascended from social media notability to become one of country music’s most accomplished mainstays. Not only was he recently named as one of the Time100 most influential people in the world, but the 28-year-old singer-songwriter was nominated for multiple 2022 ACM Awards and 2021 CMA Awards as his latest hit single, One Mississippi, topped country airplay charts for the seventh time.

Upon the release of his Kane Brown Deluxe Version in October 2017, Brown made history as the first artist ever to lead all five of Billboard’s main country charts simultaneously. This accomplishment was achieved by his album which reigned No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart for 13 weeks, plus his 7X Platinum-certified hits Heaven and What Ifs featuring Lauren Alaina, respectively the fourth and seventh most-streamed country songs of all time (U.S. Nielsen Country On-Demand Streams chart).

A 5X American Music Award Winner, Brown became the only male country artist in more than 24 years to have his sophomore album debut at the top of the Billboard 200 when he dropped Experiment in 2018. Now certified Platinum, Experiment yielded the three consecutive No. 1 2X Platinum certified hits Lose It, Good As You and Homesick. Mixtape Vol. 1, Brown’s first multi-song project since Experiment, dropped in August 2020 and earned an ACM Award nomination for Album of the Year in 2021. Brown’s EP included the powerful Worldwide Beautiful, which received an ACM Award for ‘Video of the Year,’ the first time a Black solo artist has won this trophy.

Known for his unique collaborations, Brown has worked with Grammy and Academy Award winning singer-songwriter H.E.R. on Bless & Free, DJ Marshmello (2X Platinum One Thing Right), Khalid and Swae Lee (Platinum Be Like That), “blackbear  (Memory), Nelly (Platinum Cool Again), John Legend (Last Time I Say Sorry), Camila Cabello (Never Be The Same remix), Brooks & Dunn (Believe the super duo's Reboot album) and Becky G. (Lost In The Middle Of Nowhere Spanish remix).

Brown’s most recent collaboration, Famous Friends with Chris Young, became Billboard’s 2021 year-end #1 Country Airplay Song and remained in the Top 5 of Billboard’s airplay chart for 15 weeks and earned ‘Collaborative Video of the Year’ for Famous Friends at the 2021 CMT Music Awards, which Brown co-hosted. Most recently, Brown celebrated his seventh chart-topping single and the first for his co-owned publishing company, Verse2, with his #1 hit One Mississippi
