Jelly Roll is teasing what might be his most important tour to date, and it’s set to be huge.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the Need A Favor singer declared that his upcoming tour dates are “so big it scares [him] a little”, writing: “This tour is so big it scares me a little to release the dates ….. I’ve never been nervous before a tour announcement before. But this one is THE ONE!”

Jelly Roll didn’t reveal any potential music venues or support acts, but the tweet alone indicates that what’s coming will be special. There’s not much to go on, but you can count us in – here’s hoping that there are some international dates, particularly for his devoted Australian fans.

With the singer’s previous ventures into rap and rock, some suggested touring mates mentioned on social media include Shinedown, Tech N9ne, Twiz Tid and Three 6 Mafia – making for a true crossover event.

On the All Country News Instagram page, a prompt asked where fans want to see Jelly Roll in 2024, and the recommendations rolled in: the Hollywood Bowl, the UK; Saskatoon, Canada; Sydney, Australia; Montreal; and, of course, Nashville. Stay tuned for an official tour announcement from one of country music’s biggest stars.

Jelly Roll was recently crowned the Male Country Artist of the Year at this year’s People’s Choice Awards. Responding to the “absolutely incredible” win, Jelly Roll thanked his fans for voting and sending the song all over social media.

In other Jelly Roll news, the artist earned nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards (for Best New Artist and Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Lainey Wilson).

While he didn’t win either award, Jelly Roll stole hearts with an emotional video following the announcement of his nominations, tearfully telling fans:

“The greatest honour an artist can ever hear is that they’ve been nominated for a Grammy. I got to hear that this morning. I haven’t cried like this since my daddy died. I tried making this video seven times, y’all. I love y’all, man, so fucking much.”

You can watch Jelly Roll appear as a mentor on the current season of American Idol soon.
