Jelly RollIt turns out that being a dedicated fan can have its perks, with Jelly Roll stopping a recent show to offer one diehard fan free tickets to his gigs for life.
The incident in question occurred during Sunday evening's (June 21st) show in Gilford, New Hampshire when Jelly Roll paused the evening’s proceedings to point out one familiar face within the crowd,
“Right here, make sure she never buys a ticket to a show again,” he said as applause broke out. “This is like the sixth show I’ve seen her at. You will never buy another ticket to my concert, ever. We will take care of that tonight. This is like the fifth time I’ve seen you on this tour. Thank you. This is so awesome. Thank you.
“I’m gonna have to change the set list just for you if you keep coming back,” he added. “I have to play you something different, right?”
The fan in question is Lauryn Roussel, who shared video of the incident on social media, explaining it was a rather special – and deeply personal – experience for her.

“I am OVER THE MOON thank you so so so much, Jelly Roll,” Rousel wrote on TikTok. “I know my best friend who passed on 12/24/21 is always with me. I spoke to her and said, ‘If you’re with me tonight, please get him to sign my book.’

The heartwarming moment is a nice bit of levity in a heavy week for Jelly Roll, whose divorce from Bunnie Xo was made public last week. The singer addressed the split during a recent live show on June 18th, informing fans that Bunnie remains his “best friend” and he still loves her despite the fact they’re getting a divorce.
“Me and my wife are best friends; we will always be best friends,” he explained to the crowds. “I love her. She will probably be the only woman I’ll ever love the way I loved her.”
“Nobody cheated on nobody; she just did a whole podcast about it,” he added, referencing Bunnie’s recent episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast. “You can go watch it, every word of it is the truth.”
