Luke CombsLuke Combs is teasing something big, and stadiums across the US and a bunch of fellow country artists are in on it.
Earlier this week (11 August), the Luke Combs Headquarters Instagram account shared a short video of a briefcase snapping shut, but not before we got a little peek inside at what seemed to be the Where the Wild Things Are hitmaker’s playing cards.
While playing cards wouldn’t usually become newsworthy, this did, as Combs is teasing an announcement for Thursday, 13 August – and he’s not alone.
Major stadium venues have also shared that date with a short teaser on social media, Whiskey Riff reports.
Venues include Ford Field in Detroit, Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, AT&T Stadium in Dallas, US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, and more, while BC Place in Vancouver shared a teaser, too, indicating that at least one Canadian date is on the cards.
Additionally, artists including Treaty Oak Revival, Avery Anna, Wyatt McCubbin, and Shenandoah have shared covers of Luke Combs songs on social media.
Holler Country notes that these covers aren’t likely to be random, as they include the date of 13 August in the caption. Plus, it’s a strategy Combs used to announce his My Kinda Saturday Night tour.

Is another leg of the My Kinda Saturday Night tour about to be announced? All signs seem to be pointing to yes – keep an eye on Combs’ social media accounts for more information, which will be announced before we know it.
Earlier this month, Luke Combs concluded his massive My Kinda Saturday Night tour with a three-night stint at London’s Wembley Stadium.
Combs became the first country artist to headline stadium venues in Australia last year, when he took over Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. He also brought the show to Auckland, New Zealand.
In March, Combs unveiled his sixth album, The Way I Am, with singles including Back in the Saddle and Sleepless in a Hotel Room, the latter marking his 20th Billboard Country Airplay #1 single.
