God Took His Time On You by Casey Barnes reclaims the top spot on the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart this week – the song reached #1 back on November 19 before being overtaken by Kids On Cassette by The Wolfe Brothers (#2) and Wild Hearts by Keith Urban (#4).
Luke Combs’ Cold As You is at #3, ahead of Urban (#4) and Same Boat by Zac Brown Band (#5). I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version) by Taylor Swift featuring Chris Stapleton jumps nine spots, reaching the top 10 for the first time, landing at a respectable #6.
Melanie Dyer’s Run Out Of Road is at #7, with Buy Dirt by Jordan Davis and Luke Bryan close behind (#8). Morgan Evans’ Love Is Real is at #9, ahead of Single Saturday Night by Cole Swindell which completes the top 10 this week before Christmas – check out our festive playlist here.
Whatchawanna by Cornell & Carr makes moves again, jumping a whopping TWENTY spots into #12. The song peaked at #8 back on October 22 – can it do it again next week?
Other songs gaining a lot momentum include One Mississippi by Kane Brown (#14), Still The One by Adam Brand (#18) – we premiered the track and music video here, Get It Girl by Taylor Moss (#25) and Sunshine Hurricane by 2022 Toyota Star Maker finalist, Brittany Elise (#39).
The only new addition to the chart is Never Thought Of You by Wesley Dean at #34. However, lots of re-entries though, which include AMAZING by Cassidy-Rae (#40), Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home) by Elle King and Miranda Lambert (#41) and Mackenzie Porter’s These Days (#43). Famous Friends by Chris Young and Kane Brown (#44), Thomas Rhett’s Slow Down Summer (#45) and Made For You by Jake Owen (#47) also return.
