Country-rock star HARDY has announced his highly anticipated new album, Quit!!, will be released on Friday, 12 July. In addition to announcing the album, he’s unveiled the music video for the latest single, PSYCHO.
Quit!! was recorded with Big Loud partner and producer Joey Moi (who’s worked with the likes of Morgan Wallen, Florida Georgia Line, and Nickelback), and finds HARDY diving further into his rock-influenced sound.
On Quit!!, like Dolly Parton before him, HARDY has enlisted a group of rockstars to help showcase his vision. However, unlike Dolly, he hasn’t gone for classic rock icons but has opted for ‘90s alternative rock and nu-metal stars. Fans will hear Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith on GOOD GIRL PHASE, rising star Knox on HAPPY HOUR, and Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst on SOUL4SALE.
The album contains 13 songs, including the previously released title track, ROCKSTAR, and the newly released PSYCHO. Check out the music video below.
Announcing the album in an Instagram video, HARDY said, “I know that you guys are dying to hear new music, and I will tell you we’re going to drop a lot of songs between now and then, and you’re going to hear a lot of new songs.
“We’re going to play a lot of new songs live, so don’t worry. But I want to let you know the album comes out July 12, and it is awesome, and I’m so excited for y’all to hear it.”

Last month, HARDY shocked the country and rap music world with his surprise cover of Snoop Dogg’s Gin & Juice.
Here’s what HARDY had to say about the cover: “A while back, I got a phone call saying that Jimmy Iovine, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg would like for me to record my own version of Gin & Juice for the launch of their new drink, Gin & Juice.
“I’m still in disbelief, but I am so stoked to announce that I recorded my version of this classic record for the short film Gin and Juice with the blessing of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg themselves. Thankful for the opportunity.”
Last year, HARDY won three of his four nominations at the ACM Awards: Artist-Songwriter Of The Year, Music Event Of The Year and Visual Media Of The Year (the latter two for his collaborative single with Lainey Wilson, Wait In The Truck), while he lost out on the award for Song Of The Year to Cole Swindell.
