HARDY Announces COUNTRY! EP And Debut Grand Ole Opry Performance

Country’s genre-blurring powerhouse HARDY is ready to kick off a new era. Today, he announced his next project, COUNTRY!, a brand-new EP dropping May 2nd via Big Loud. Fans won’t have to wait long to hear what’s next though with two new tracks, Favorite Country Song and Buck On The Wall, are available on all streaming platforms right now.

“Two new songs—I'm extremely excited,” says HARDY. “Both songs remind me of a very special place, the place where I grew up, the place where I became who I am—my deer camp. It's now the only place I have to go home to since somebody lives in my childhood home. I feel like it's been a long time coming to put out some music that gets back to my roots.”

The EP release isn’t the only major moment this month for HARDY. He will make his debut on the Grand Ole Opry stage on April 29, a milestone that further cements his place as one of the genre’s most important modern voices.

The COUNTRY! EP came about from HARDY not having enough time to produce and release a full-length studio album, but still wanting his fans to have new music before the JIM BOB World Tour kicks off in May. Hitting iconic venues like Madison Square Garden along the way, he will be joined by friends Koe Wetzel, Stephen Wilson Jr., Sikarus, and McCoy Moore on select dates. With shows also scheduled across Europe and some major festival slots, this is no doubt going to be a mammoth year for the country star and new father.

Earlier this year, HARDY quietly stepped into a new role offstage: dad. While he and his wife Caleigh have kept their daughter and this journey mostly private, this new role no doubt adds a deeper personal layer to a year already packed with career highs.

Coming off a huge 2024 that included his No. 1 album Quit!! as well as a Red Rocks live album, HARDY shows no signs of slowing down in 2025. With over 6 billion streams, 16 #1 songs and counting, COUNTRY! promises to be another bold step forward for HARDY.
