Groundwater Country Music Festival Unveils 2024 Program

You can start planning your Groundwater weekend now, with the festival launching its program, map and app.

Groundwater Country Music Festival is less than a month away, and to help with your planning ahead of the big weekend, organisers have unveiled the highly anticipated program for this year’s event.

Today, Groundwater has launched its program, map and app so that you can find artist performance times, stages, venues, and other exciting events taking place across the festival grounds. While the Groundwater team is putting the finishing touches on this year’s program, you can start planning here.

With the day program released, attendees will now know that the likes of Shannon Noll, Taylor Moss, the Davidson Brothers, Adam Brand, Jayne Denham, and more will be playing on the first day (Friday, 18 October).

The following day, highlights at Groundwater include The Linda Ronstadt Show featuring Ella Hooper, Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, Jess Moskaluke, Josh Setterfield, and Jim Lauderdale.

On Sunday (20 October), the final day of the festival, punters will get to soak in the brilliance of Kasey Chambers, Gord Bamford, Tim Hicks, Max Jackson, and Emily Grace Taylor.

In addition to the main stages, the KIX Live at Groundwater Songwriters series returns on the final day of the festival this year. Acts including Abbie Ferris, Melanie Dyer, Robbie Mortimer, Christie Lamb, and others will perform under the Kurrawa Big Top.

These are only some of the artists you can catch at this year’s Groundwater Country Music Festival. With over 50 acts set to perform over three days, anyone attending this FREE music event will walk away satisfied and ready for 2025.

Festival Director Mark Duckworth said of this year’s event, “We love that feeling in October when the energy of country music takes over the Gold Coast. In 2024, it’s such an incredible and diverse lineup of artists our Groundwater fans are in for a treat, and the team are planning to deliver something special for everyone.”
