Golden Guitar Awards 2025 Performers & Presenters Revealed

The event will feature the likes of Kasey Chambers and Troy Cassar-Daley, the latter of which leads the 2025 Golden Guitar Awards with a total of six nominations.

With just over two weeks to go until the 2025 edition of the Golden Guitar Awards kick off as part of the Tamworth Country Music Festival, organisers have unveiled all the details of performers and hosts for the night.

Set to take place from 7:30pm on January 25th at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment & Events Centre, the 53rd edition of the Golden Guitars is on track to be one the biggest night of the year for country music lovers.

Existing to celebrate recording excellence and to showcase the cream of Australian country music artists, and the songs that have left their mark on the fans throughout the past 12 months, it’s easy to see why it’s a big day in the calendar.

This year sees the Golden Guitars celebrating “all the colours of country”, including all the genres, the identities, and the music, with Max Jackson and James Johnston lining up to host the evening.

Together, they’ll also be leading an evening which features performances from some of the biggest icons and rising names in the Australian country scene. This year sees the likes of Kasey Chambers, Adam Harvey, John Williamson, Troy Cassar-Daley, Max Jackson, and The Wolfe Brothers all on hand to perform across the night.

They too will be joined by names such as James Johnston, Ashleigh Dallas, Colin Buchanan, Zac & George, Taylor Moss, Raechel Whitchurch, and Wade Forster, who will all showcase their acclaimed live show as part of the proceedings.

This year’s awards see a number of the genre’s biggest names all vying for top honours, with the likes of Chambers, Cassar-Daley, Jackson, the Wolfe Brothers, and Lee Kernaghan & James Johnston going head-to-head for Single Of The Year.

Cassar-Daley is up for a total of six awards on the night, while Michael Waugh is up for five, with Kernaghan, Chambers, Johnston, Colin Buchanan, and Melbourne outfit Kingswood nominated for four each.

The 2025 Golden Guitar Awards take place on January 25th, with tickets to the event on sale now.
