If you weren’t already excited enough about this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards, organisers have just made it the most anticipated awards event on the 2026 calendar by announcing eleven new performers.

Joining already-announced artists such as Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson, Kacey Musgraves, Riley Green, and more, the next round of performers has been revealed.

Avery Anna, Blake Shelton, Carter Faith, Dan + Shay, Ella Langley, Jordan Davis, Kane Brown, The Red Clay Strays, Thomas Rhett, Tucker Wetmore, and Zach Top have joined the performers’ line-up, and more will be added in the coming weeks.

The 61st ACM Awards will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, 17 May. Hosted by country music legend Shania Twain, the event will be exclusively live-streamed on Prime Video for country music fans in 240+ countries and territories. Plus, viewers can tune in via the Amazon Music channel on Twitch and the Amazon Music app.

Tickets to attend the 61st ACM Awards and ACM Awards week events are available now via ASX.

Avery Anna takes to the stage after winning her first ACM Award for New Female Artist of the Year. Meanwhile, six-time recipient Blake Shelton, seven-time recipients Dan + Shay, five-time recipient Ella Langley, and fellow award-winning artists Jordan Davis, Kane Brown, The Red Clay Strays, Thomas Rhett, and others will showcase their expertise as Carter Faith makes her ACM Awards performance debut.

Established in 1966, the Academy of Country Music Awards is the longest-running country music awards show. In 2022, it made history by becoming the first major awards ceremony to live-stream its event.

In terms of the actual awards that will be handed out to artists this year, the ACM Awards will honour today’s women of country music.

Megan Moroney leads with nine nominations, with Miranda Lambert following closely behind with eight. Ella Langley and Lainey Wilson are tied with seven nominations each, cementing a seriously strong showing from female artists across the board.

In the male artists’ and general categories, Chris Stapleton has amassed six nominations, with Zach Top and Cody Johnson also picking up multiple nominations.

For Aussie fans, the good news is you won’t have to dodge spoilers on social media. The ACM Awards will stream live on Prime Video on Monday, 18 May, at 10 am AEST, so that you can tune in in real time with a coffee in hand.
