Ella HartwigHailing from Far North Queensland, Ella Hartwig is officially going global, announcing her debut UK and Ireland tour set for June and July 2026, it’s a big step forward for one of Australia’s most exciting emerging voices.
After building steady momentum at home, Hartwig is now taking her music to international audiences for the very first time. The tour will see her connect with new fans while also tapping into her own heritage, making the journey feel just as personal as it is a major career milestone.
The run will wrap up with a standout performance at the Breaking Sound Showcase in London on July 7. The showcase is a major platform known for spotlighting rising talent before they break through globally. With a track record of featuring artists like Chappell Roan and Lauv early in their careers, it’s a fitting stage for Hartwig to introduce her sound on an international level.
Back home, Hartwig has already been making waves. Her debut album Take Me South has seen her tour extensively along Australia’s east coast, landing slots at major festivals including CMC Rocks QLD, Savannah in the Round and the Gympie Music Muster. She also earned recognition at the Queensland Music Awards, picking up a nomination in the Blues & Roots category for her track Responsibility.

At the heart of her music is a deep connection to her upbringing in Cooktown, something that continues to shape her songwriting today. Having taken part in the QMusic Big Sky Girls program at just 14, Hartwig has long been driven by a desire to connect through music, especially with those in regional and remote communities.
“Bringing connection back to people who feel isolated in remote communities has always been at the heart of the songs I write and music I make.” says Hartwig. And that same ethos is now heading overseas, with Hartwig set to bring her storytelling and sound to audiences across the northern hemisphere.
With a growing fanbase, a strong live reputation and now an international tour under her belt. Consider this your heads up - Ella Hartwig’s on the move.
