Today, Dylan Wright returns with his most introspective release yet, the glowing new single THOSE NIGHTS, a track that leans hard into nostalgia, late night memories, and the quiet realisation that growing up happens whether you’re ready for it or not.

Built around Wright’s unmistakable soaring vocal, THOSE NIGHTS feels like a warm exhale. It gently nudges listeners back to their own teenage years - the friendships, the freedom, and those moments that felt endless at the time. The song captures that universal ache for a version of life that was simpler, even if we didn’t realise it while we were living it.

“I wrote THOSE NIGHTS from missing a time when everything felt simpler, when we were living our best moments without knowing they were already slipping away,” Wright says. It’s a sentiment that hits especially hard in a world where everyone’s moving fast and looking back more often than they expected to..

While THOSE NIGHTS is clearly built for late night listening, Wright’s music has always hit hardest on stage and fans won’t have to wait long to hear it live. Alongside the new single, he’s announced The Songs & Stories Tour, a massive 21 date run across Australia kicking off on May 8 in Bellingen, NSW. The tour promises a mix of new material and fan favourites, giving audiences a front-row seat to the stories behind the songs.

The release caps off a huge year for Wrights, who has spent the past 12 months almost constantly on the road. Between his own solo headline shows, touring with his band Sons of Atticus, opening for Tina Arena on her theatre run, joining Busby Marou nationally, appearing at CMA Fest in Nashville, and performing across Europe with Breathe, momentum has very much been on his side.

Most recently, Wright added a major milestone to his resume, taking home his first Golden Guitar for Bluegrass Recording of the Year with Sons of Atticus, proof that while he may be looking back on those nights, his future is looking brighter than ever.
