The Wiggles Go “Giddy Up!” With New Country Album Featuring Collaborations With Grammy Winning Artists

Get ready The Wiggles have gone country! This morning announcing their new album Wiggle Up, Giddy Up! is set to be released on March 7th.

The album is stacked full of country collaborations including Grammy award winning artists. You’ll find features including country queen herself Dolly Parton, Lainey Wilson, Orville Peck, Morgan Evans, Jackson Dean, Kaylee Bell, MacKenzie Porter, Troy Cassar-Daley, The Wolfe Brothers, Travis Collins, Lucky Oceans, and even the late, great Slim Dusty.

Leading the charge is title track with US country superstar Dasha better known for her mega viral global hit Austin. The single is packed with energy, fun, and plenty of country flair dropped this morning is the perfect song for families singalongs and even a crack at some line-dancing, Lachy Gillespie, Purple Wiggle says

“Collaborating with the incredible Dasha, whose music has already brought country music to a whole new audience, was an absolute joy. Whether you’re three, thirty-three, or ninety-three, this song is all about bringing people together to sing, dance, and even try a bit of line dancing! We’re looking forward to performing this song at the iconic Tamworth Country Music Festival and can’t wait for everyone to hear the full album in March.”

Ahead of national tours of Australia, the UK, USA and Canada, the band will be making a big splash at the Tamworth Country Music Festival on 21 January performing at the AELEC (Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre), a venue known for hosting rodeos and quarter horse events.
