The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is set to host a new exhibition honouring the constantly evolving life of country star Luke Combs. The exhibition, titled Luke Combs: The Man I Am, will kick off on July 11th, 2024, and last until June 15th, 2025, giving fans plenty of time to check out the carefully curated exhibition in Nashville.

While Combs is by no means showing off a posthumous array of artefacts, the exhibition will honour the carefully curated pieces that mark the stepping stones that got Combs’ from small-time North Carolina life to the star status he embodies now.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a variety of Combs’ prized possessions, with highlights including:

  • Guitar: A Gibson Songwriter Deluxe model owned by songwriter Ray Fulcher. The guitar was used extensively by both Fulcher and Combs when collaborating on several of the artist’s #1 hits (When It Rains it Pours, Even Though I’m Leavin’)

  • Signed Compact Disk: A CD of Combs’ debut EP, signed by both Combs and singer Adam Church

  • Manuscript: A manuscript of Combs’ song, Six Feet Apart, can be found at the exhibit, dated April 12, 2020, and featuring Combs’ creative process during the pandemic

  • Dollar Bill: The first ever dollar bill Combs made for playing music professionally at Boone’s Parthenon Cafe in North Carolina

  • Stage Wear: Outfits worn by Combs during significant performances and life events

To kick off the beginning of the exhibition on July 11th, Luke Combs will be present and joined by four of his longtime friends and collaborators, including Ray Fulcher, James McNair, Drew Parker and Rob Williford. The band of brothers have worked on several of Combs’ hit songs together as well as making their own marks in the country world.

Combs said of the honour, “I never dreamed of being featured in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, much less having my own exhibit; that was beyond my wildest dreams. But honestly, it’s all a credit to my fans, family, songwriters and team.

“I have only made it to where I am today because of them, and this honour is one of my most humbling yet. At my core, I love Country Music, and this exhibit is as prestigious of an honour as it gets.”
