Country Music Couples: All the 2021 Babies, Weddings and Engagements

From babies, wedding and engagements - this is what’s happening in the country music community, all in 2021. From Christie Lamb, Tom Wolfe and more!

After the COVID-19 pandemic kept many country artists off the road and at home for much of 2020 – and, from babies born and many on the way, to wedding and engagements – the country music community is expanding in a big way this year!

Gabby Barrett, Tom Wolfe and Mickey Guyton are among the country stars who’ve welcomed new family members in 2021. Thomas Rhett, Travis Collins, and others are still expecting. Christie Lamb and Jake Hoot got married, while Kylie Morgan and Brooke Eden got engaged.

This is what’s happening in the country music community, all in 2021.


Expecting/Married: Jimmie Allen and Alexis Gale

Shortly after getting married on May 27, the couple shared the news of the pregnancy. The baby will be their second child together. Allen also has a son from a previous relationship.

Married: Drew Baldridge and Katherine Kraus

Baldridge and Kraus tied the knot on May 7. During the ceremony, Kraus walked down the aisle to Ruelle's I Get to Love You, and they exited to James Taylor's Your Smiling Face.

Birth: Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner

Barrett married fellow musician, Foehner in October 2019 after meeting the year, before during the filming of American Idol season 16. Their baby girl Baylah May Foehner arrived on January 18.

Expecting: Travis Collins and Bec Collins

At the end of May, Collins revealed he and his wife are expecting their first child, a baby girl later this year. He said, “I am blessed, and we are so excited! Bub arrives in November 2021.”

Expecting: Jordan Davis and Kristen O’Connor

On May 17, Davis and his wife announced they are expecting their second child, a boy, later this year. The couple already share daughter, Eloise Larkin, born on November 17, 2019.

Engaged: Brooke Eden and Hilary Hoover

Eden and Hoover were dating for about five years before getting engaged. The pair first met during the first week of Eden's radio tour, when Hoover was working for her record label.

Birth: Tyler Farr and Hannah Freeman

Hollis Caroline Farr was born on January 27 — about six weeks earlier than expected, due to preeclampsia. She weighed 4 lbs., 2 oz. and measured just over 19 inches long.

Expecting: Harper Grae and Dawn Gates

The couple will soon welcome their first child together - a joyous moment for the couple, though also a bittersweet milestone for Grae, who suffered a late-term miscarriage nearly a decade ago.

Birth: Mickey Guyton and Grant Savoy

Guyton welcomed her first child with attorney husband, Savoy on February 8. She described the birth of her son, Grayson Clark as “the hardest and most beautiful thing I have ever done.”

Married: Jake Hoot and Brittney Hoyt

Hoot, the season 17 winner of The Voice, married Hoyt, a labour and delivery nurse who also runs a non-profit, on March 7. During the wedding, Hoot sang two original songs he wrote for his bride.

Expecting: James Johnston and TaliaRose Johnston

On June 30, the former Australian Idol contestant announced he and his wife are expecting their second child this December. The couple are also parents to son, Koda.  

Married: Pat Kenny and Lydia

Kenny married his wife, Lydia in March. He wrote on social media, “I’m definitely the luckiest man on the planet. Firstly, to marry this amazing woman and then to share our day with the most incredible friends and family.”

Married: Christie Lamb and Jonathan English

The Golden Guitar winner married Jonathan English, son of the late great Jon English, at Gledswood Homestead in Sydney in June. The couple had to reschedule the big day twice due to COVID-19.

Birth: Chris Lane and Lauren Bushnell Lane

The country singer and former The Bachelor contestant welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Dutton Walker Lane, on June 8. He weighed 9 pounds and measured 19.5 inches long.

Birth: Nina Lessmann and Samuel Lessmann

Nina Lessmann, of the sister duo Vixens of Fall, gave birth to Scarlett Maeve Lessman on June 7 at 7.20pm. Their latest single, Scout’s Honour is dedicated to the adorable baby girl.

Birth: Mollie McClymont and Aaron Blackburn

Mollie McClymont, of the sister trio The McClymonts, gave birth to Winter, or Winne for short, on June 2nd. Weighing 3.55kg at birth, Winnie joins her older brother Ned and sister Elky.

Engaged: Kylie Morgan and Jay Allen

Allen popped the question to Morgan on their six-year anniversary of dating. The couple got engaged onstage during that night's Whiskey Jam, a bi-weekly event in Nashville.

Expecting: RaeLynn and Josh Davis

RaeLynn and her husband are awaiting the arrival of Daisy Rae Davis — their first child, a girl. She celebrated baby Daisy by releasing a song she had written for her daughter, Made For Me to Love.  

Expecting: Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins

Rhett and Akins announced the pregnancy in early May. The couple are already parents to three daughters: Willa Gray (whom they adopted from Uganda), 5, Ada James, 3 and Lennon Love, 1.

Expecting: Granger Smith and Amber Smith

The Smiths' announced they are expecting their fourth child – a boy, to be named Maverick Beckham - in a video posted to social media, nearly two years after the death of their youngest son, River.

Married: Jennifer Wayne and Austin Moody

Runaway June member Wayne and fellow musician Moody married on January 9, less than two weeks after he proposed on December 28, outside of the recording studio at which they met five years prior.

Birth: Tom Wolfe and Ally Wolfe

Tom Wolfe of the Wolfe Brothers and wife Ally welcomed their daughter, Evelyn Millie Wolfe on April 17 at 5.04pm. She is the first child for the Tasmanian couple.

Birth: Charlie Worsham and Kristen

Worsham, a former member of the band Old Crow Medicine Show and his wife welcomed their first child, Gabriel Thomas Worsham on Thursday, April 1 at 3.38pm. He weighed 6 lbs., 11 oz. at birth.

Expecting: Brett Young and Taylor Mills Young

Young and his wife are expecting their second child, and second girl, together, they revealed on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Their daughter, Presley Elizabeth was born on October 21, 2019 in Nashville.
