Country Fest Queensland is returning in 2027, recently announcing it has moved from its usual June dates to April, while remaining at its home of Cluden Park, Townsville.
The festival will take place on Friday, 16 and Saturday, 17 April, supported by Townsville City Council via Townsville Enterprise, and again feature a family-friendly atmosphere and energy that welcomes thousands of patrons through the gates each year.
Yet again, Cluden Park will be transformed into a country fair-style celebration of music and community, entertainment, and family activities.
According to a press release, Country Fest Queensland’s move to April has been “designed to align with the American country music touring schedule” and create touring opportunities “to bring international and national country music artists to North Queensland.”
The artist line-up and festival announcements are expected to arrive in the coming weeks.
Country Fest Queensland’s Ellie Smith said of the event’s 2027 return, “With the move to April, we’re excited to create even more opportunities to showcase a diverse range of artists from across Australia and internationally.
“We’re also thrilled to once again bring the region an experience they would normally have to travel for, making it easier for audiences to enjoy a truly diverse and exciting festival experience close to home.”
