Despite the full line-up of artists not yet announced, country music fans around Australia have showed their eagerness for live music to return, snapping up over 22,000 tickets and selling out CMC Rocks QLD on the first day of sale.

Last week, Potts Entertainment, Chugg Entertainment and Frontier Touring revealed Brad Paisley, Kane Brown and Morgan Evans will headline the ultimate country music experience in Willowbank, Ipswich from Wednesday 21st to Sunday 25th September 2022, for the festival’s celebratory 15th anniversary year.

Chairman of Chugg Entertainment, Michael Chugg said, "Thanks for sticking by us Australia! We love our CMC family, and we knew they would love our headliners when we announced them last week. The response has been overwhelming. It’s shaping up to be our biggest and best CMC Rocks so far.”

The full line-up will be revealed in the coming months and will include other top-calibre local and international artists. If you missed out on tickets, you can join the waitlist here.

CMC Rocks has been an important date on the Australian music calendar since 2008, beginning in the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales, before heading to the Hunter Valley, and then on to its home in South East Queensland. Bringing artists including Lady A, Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Little Big Town, Taylor Swift, Florida Georgia Line, Kacey Musgraves, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett and Tim McGraw to Australia, CMC Rocks is known for attracting the highest local and international calibre talent year on year.

In 2019, CMC Rocks sold out in 90 minutes. The festival also sold out on its first day of sale in 2017 and 2018, respectively. CMC Rocks was postponed in 2020 and 2021, citing international travel restrictions from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Similarly, the Gippsland Country Music Festival pre-sale tickets sold out in less than three hours yesterday. The line-up includes Kasey Chambers, The Wolfe Brothers, Travis Collins, Adam Harvey, Darlinghurst, Taylor Moss and more.
