Chris Stapleton will feature on the deluxe edition of Adele’s upcoming album, 30.

The duet will be an alternative version of Adele’s current single, Easy On Me. The song marks the first collaboration in her discography. She recently shared the solo version of the song as a first taste of the collection, which comes out — in both its basic and deluxe editions — on November 19.

During an October 2021 appearance on Vogue’s 73 Questions series, the English singer-songwriter named Stapleton as a dream duet partner. Adele also has been performing If It Hadn’t Been For Love, a song Stapleton co-wrote and performed during his days in the bluegrass band, the SteelDrivers. She also included it as a bonus track on the U.K. limited edition of her second album, 21.

Inspired by her divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki (with whom she shares son, Angelo), Adele tackles the separation on the new album, whilst discussing her motherhood and the scrutiny of fame. Song titles include I Drink Wine, Woman Like Me, Can I Get It and Cry Your Heart Out.
