Carrie Underwood has confirmed that she and her family were “unharmed” by a fire that was on their property in Tennessee on Sunday (16 June).

WKRN News 2 reports that several crews were dispatched to the property in Williamson County, Tennessee, to respond to a “fully involved fire” that began in the garage at around 9:40 pm. The fire was put out quickly with the assistance of the 10,000-gallon water tank on Underwood’s property.

A spokesperson for Underwood confirmed to PEOPLE that the singer, her husband Mike Fisher, sons Michael and Jacob and their pets were unharmed by the fire.

“There was a fire on the property on Sunday night, which was quickly contained,” the spokesperson said. “There was no fire damage to the primary residence, and the family and their pets were unharmed.”

Williamson County Fire/Rescue confirmed that crews went to Underwood’s property “almost immediately” after responding to a fire alarm call on social media and confirmed that the cause of the fire is under investigation. “There are no injuries at this time,” the social media statement reads.

At the time of writing, Carrie Underwood hasn’t yet made a statement about the fire on social media.

Underwood’s most recent album, Denim & Rhinestones, was released in June 2022. The album became her tenth consecutive top ten album in the US.

Last year, the Before He Cheats singer was a surprise opener for a few dates on Guns N’ Roses’ North American tour. While on the tour, her set comprised covers of Joan Jett’s Bad ReputationHeart’s Alone and Wild Horses by The Rolling Stones.

While those choices are interesting and strong enough to win over rock fans, Underwood went the extra mile by taking on the Motörhead classicAce Of Spades.

Like the original, her band kept Ace Of Spades bass-heavy, and Underwood snarled and growled through the song in a way that would have made Ian Lemmy” Kilmister proud.

Underwood was set to headline the sold-out Kickoff Jam festival in Florida this August, but it’s just been cancelled. You can find out more about that event here.
