The worldwide premiere of The Buckleys documentary Take It As It Comes will take place at the Bryon Bay Film Festival.

Premiering on Saturday October 29, Take It As It Comes follows The Buckleys as they record their new EP in Nashville. The screening will include a Q&A and live performance by the sibling trio.

The Buckleys wrote on social media, “We can’t wait for our event this Saturday night at the [Bryon Bay Film Festival] for the worldwide premiere of the documentary Take It As It Comes and are so excited to have the director [Grant James] flying in from the US to attend + be a part of a Q&A with us on the night, answering all your [burning] questions following the screening! Grant is such an incredible creative we are so grateful to have directed this short film, and has worked with the likes of [Madonna, Pearl Jam, Jack White] - some of our idols!”

They added, “We’ll also be performing Saturday night after the screening so make sure you get your ticket now, so you don’t miss out on all the action! It’s gonna be a great fun night and we can’t wait to share with you all. Let’s go Byron.”

The Buckleys released their EP of the same name in September. Draw inspiration from “Fleetwood Mac, Sheryl Crow, and even a little bit of old school Taylor Swift, the EP’s five songs takes the band into new territory, expanding the scope of their “hippie country” debut and adding a healthy dose of meticulously crafted pop that comes from the natural chemistry of the band.

Cracking the Australian Top Ten on the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart at #5, the first single Oops I Love You has been spreading its widespread appeal across the globe.

“The songs featured on this EP, we really feel embody who we are and what we want to say in this moment, personally and artistically,” lead vocalist/bassist Sarah Buckley says.

The band created a groundswell in Australia with each of their four released singles charting in the Top Five of Australian country radio. Their first single Daydream, catapulted the trio into the limelight, scoring a #1 single on Australian country radio, which was followed by the second single, I’m Comin’ For Ya (Love), which reached #3. Their worldwide debut single Money reached #2 and its follow up Breathe at #3.

The 16th Byron Bay International Film Festival returned this October with a broad selection of local, Australian and International films bound to entertain, enlighten and excite audiences.
