Brothers Osborne’s John Osborne Welcomes Twins With Wife Lucie Silvas

John Osborne – one-half of the platinum-selling country duo Brothers Osborne alongside T.J. Osborne – has welcomed twins with his singer-songwriter wife, Lucie Silvas.

The couple welcomed Maybelle and Arthur on Tuesday, March 21.

Osborne shared the exciting news on social media, revealing that Arthur is the older of the two by one minute. At birth, he weighed 3 lb., 3 oz. and was 15 and 1/2 inches long. Whereas, Maybelle weighed in at 5 lbs., 1 oz. and was 18 inches long.

"Welcome to this crazy world, Arthur and Maybelle," Osborne wrote on social media in his announcement post. "It's going to be a wild one."

He also describes his wife as a "damn warrior princess," adding, "We did it y'all."

“Wanted to say thank you for all the love and good wishes we’ve gotten. John has been passing along all the messages,” Silvas posted on her own Instagram account. “I’m still in hospital healing and our little twins are too, and getting stronger every day.”

“Arthur and Maybelle have changed our lives in ways I can’t possibly describe. All I can do is cry with happiness and amazement. Being their Mum and holding them is the best feeling I’ve ever felt.”

“To watch John become a dad is also probably the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” she continued. “Our Doctor and all the hospital staff have blown my mind with what they do for people every single day. Very very grateful and can’t wait to come home together, as a family.” [sic]

The couple revealed on November 9, 2022, that Silvas was expecting twins. They married in 2015 and had been trying to conceive before they turned to a “very long, tough journey with IVF.”

She shared, "I think deep down, we were hoping for two... It is such an amazing thing to be in this position to be growing two babies. When you think that you may never have the chance to have children and then suddenly, you're going to have two, it's amazing."

Meanwhile, T.J. Osborne is dating Abi Ventura. While when they started dating is unknown, fans speculate that the pair have been together since before T.J. came out as gay in February 2021.

“I’m very comfortable being gay. I find myself being guarded for not wanting to talk about something that I personally don’t have a problem with. That feels so strange," T.J. said in an interview with Time. "I want to get to the height of my career being completely who I am. I mean, I am who I am, but I’ve kept a part of me muted, and it’s been stifling.”

By coming out publicly, he became one of very few openly gay country artists to be signed to a major label (EMI Nashville).
