Brooke McClymont And Adam Eckersley Named 2023 Gympie Music Muster Ambassadors

Good times and great mates are the themes for this year’s Gympie Music Muster Ambassadors, country music royalty, Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley.

“When we were asked, we asked, ‘are you sure?’ but every time we go, we have the best time, so we are pumped to take on the opportunity to be Ambassadors,” McClymont said.

“We are going for the whole time to make sure we can catch up with everyone and do the full role. We are always flying in and out at any festival, but at Muster, we are going to get in and see some artists and it’s going to be nice to be a punter as well as performers.”

While they aren’t sure how many Musters they’ve played in total, McClymont credits the festival for starting her career.

“I won the Gympie Muster Talent Search and that’s where I got signed, so The Gympie Muster is where it kickstarted it for me and the girls (The McClymonts),” she said. “It’s a pretty special festival in my eyes and to do a completely full circle, going there to be in the talent search to now being the ambassadors is amazing. It’s one of our favourite festivals to do because we love the whole atmosphere of the place, it supports local artists and it’s something music fans need to put on their calendars.”

This will be the second year McClymont and Eckersley play the Muster as a duo.
