Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley are keeping the momentum rolling in 2026, releasing their brand new single Someone Else’s Dream - a light, energetic track that leans into curiosity, connection and the stories unfolding all around us.

The single follows their first release in three years Now I’ve Said It, but this time around the duo are trading bold statements for something a little more observational.

“We’ve always loved to people-watch when we’re walking through the city, and we’re fascinated by the hustle and bustle, especially given we live on a dirt road in the bush. We often wonder what everybody’s stories are - it’s so interesting. But it would be a boring world if everyone were the same, so as the song says, ‘you do you, and I’ll do me’. In short, Someone Else’s Dream is a bit of fun about taking a walk through the city.” says McClymont.

Produced by acclaimed names Andy Mak and Scott Horscroft, the track blends the duo’s signature storytelling with a bright, infectious energy that feels made for live shows.

The accompanying music video adds to the release, filmed on a sunny day outside Newcastle’s historic Old Railway Station. Directed by Bradley Murnane, the clip follows McClymont and Eckersley as they wander through the city, connecting with strangers and turning unfamiliar streets into something that feels like home… and there’s even a surprise a cameo from Travel Guides favourite Mark Fren!

The release caps off a busy period for the duo, who recently hosted the Countrytown Awards and wrapped a run of headline shows on their Preview This Tour. Fans were given a first taste of new material during those dates, with early reactions pointing to plenty more excitement on the horizon.

Next up, they’ll hit the road again in June for the Country Love Tour alongside Rod McCormack, Gina Jeffreys and the O'Sheas, bringing their signature mix of heart, humour and high energy performance to stages across the country.
