Brad Cox Added To Yours & Owls Line-up, Festival Venue Revealed

Australian country music star Brad Cox will spend some time in Wollongong next March, as he’s been added to the massive Yours & Owls festival line-up.

Cox joins a hugely eclectic bill headlined by Irish post-punks Fontaines D.C., American rapper Denzel Curry, English pop-rock band The Kooks, and American rock band Goo Goo Dolls. Other acts on the bill include The Jungle Giants, Orville Peck, The Veronicas, Pond, Magdalena Bay, and many more.

Brad Cox's performance at the festival follows his recent signing to Warner Music Australia and the release of his latest single, Everything I’ve Got. The single arrived as the first release since last year’s ARIA Award-nominated album Acres. Cox has been taking the single on the road this month on his Everything I’ve Got tour.

In addition to adding Cox to the festival bill, Yours & Owls has announced the venue for next year’s event.

Because the festival was postponed last year due to logistical issues (moving the festival to March 2025), its spiritual home over the years – the University of Wollongong – is now unavailable for the new dates (1 and 2 March).

Yours & Owls 2025 will now take place at the Wollongong Foreshore, South Beach.

Festival organisers said:

Unfortunately, we can’t access UOW due to our date change; in true Gong spirit, when life gives us lemons, we go out and make some big-ass pitchers of LEMONADE! Being closer to the CBD means better access to all that juicy CBD stuff that makes life a little easier. Direct transport routes, better connectivity, those beachside negative ions, walking distance to the accommodation if you are coming in from out of town, and, most importantly, a hop, skip, and jump to the after-parties!
It's a different venue, but the vibe's the same! Multiple stages, the best international and local artists, chill-out spaces, bars, food, and arts showcase all the best elements Wollongong and its surrounds have to offer!
