Bayker Blankenship Announces First-Ever Australian Headline Tour

CMC Rocks standout Bayker Blankenship returns to Australia for a December headline tour, where he'll be previewing new music.

After making his unforgettable debut at this year’s CMC Rocks QLD, rising star Bayker Blankenship is returning to Australia in December. The shows mark his first-ever headline tour in the country.

The Livingston, Tennessee native recognised for his distinctive, authentic voice will begin his tour at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Thursday, 10 December. The excitement continues at Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Saturday, 12 December, and concludes at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Sunday, 13 December.

“Australia made a huge impression on me the first time around,” Blankenship commented in a statement.

He added, “Australian people really love music. I feel so at home there, and I wanted to come back as soon as I could. Plus, they have really good coffee.”

Blankenship is quickly gaining traction in the country music scene, receiving praise for his gritty vocals, honest songwriting, and energetic live performances. It helps that he also has a Platinum-certified hit, Maxed Out.

Following his buzzed-about performance at CMC Rocks QLD and the release of engaging singles Maxed Out, Jailbreak, Sunday Supper, and Thinking Of Me, Blankenship has been spending time in the studio, knuckling down and working hard on his debut album.

Australian fans will be among the first in the world to hear previews of the rising star’s new music when he takes to the stage in December.

In a recent interview with Countrytown, Blankenship reflected on his whirlwind experience with success, which already includes two scheduled visits to Australia.

“It’s been wild,” he told Countrytown. “It’s been the craziest, for sure, because back in 2024 when I wrote ‘Maxed Out’ and released it, it had been crazy.

“From signing the deal to having them help me release the song and then being able to go on tour by myself, and then getting a band, going on another tour, and then going on another tour, and coming across a whole other country. It’s been one hell of an experience.”
