Adam Brand is set to become a father of two!
The country music superstar first revealed he and his partner Nui were expecting their second child in a lengthy social media post on January 6, where he also announced he was withdrawing from the Tamworth Country Music Festival* due to contracting coronavirus.
He wrote, “We have been tested positive with covid and are now quarantining at home. Where it gets really concerning for us is that Nui is pregnant, and I need to stay home and be close to my girls during this time … so far, the symptoms are mild, and she is strong … Myself, on the other hand, am experiencing some adverse complications due to a pre-existing auto immune system condition. In view of all these complications we need to lay low for an extended time which will sadly take us out of Tamworth this year … Thank you for all your continued love and support and we will see you on the other side of this.”
*We are yet to hear if Brand will perform in April, following the festival’s postponement.

On January 26, in a social media post where the family looks to have recovered from COVID-19, Brand updated another baby girl will bring the family to four. The couple welcomed daughter Pepper, in May of 2019, who later appeared in his Life’s Been Good To Me music video.

Starting with the high-octane Built for Speed in 2002, Brand has enjoyed an unbroken string of No.1-charting ARIA Country Albums. 2020’s Speed of Life took out the No. 6 spot on the overall ARIA Albums Chart, marking his sixth studio album to make the Top 10.
