Australia’s First Dolly Parton Festival is coming to Narromine!

The Dolly Festival will kick off on Friday 30 September with a free screening of Gnomeo and Juliet at Payten Park, Narromine. On Saturday, October 1, the jam-packed program will include live music, street market stalls, family-friendly events and an over 18’s evening festival. Celebrating the Queen of country music, the Dolly Parton festival is set to put Narromine on the country music map.

Expect live music from country music artists including Kirsty Lee Akers and Amy Ryan, a drag performance from Timberlina, fabulous impersonators and tribute acts and market stalls.

Guests are also encouraged to don their best Dolly or Kenny Rogers costumes in the best dressed competition judged by Rowdie Walden and Abbie Chatfield.

Walden says, "Abbie and I are super excited to make our way back out bush again! We are massive Dolly fans and cannot wait for the festival. Dress to impress because we are not taking our judging requirements lightly!"

Located just 25 minutes west of Dubbo, the beautiful town of Narromine is set in the heart of the Macquarie Valley Central West NSW, on the banks of the Macquarie River.

Tickets start at just $15. We're not sure what time it kicks off but we're hoping it's 9 to 5.

The festival was supposed to make its debut in 2020 but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
