Reminiscent of Mackay’s most recent EP, Worth The Wait, the lyrics from the chorus of his new single Time To Learn seem to act as a self reminder “but I gotta be strong, when I’m getting it wrong, cause it takes me time to learn”.
Mackay has made it clear in the past that drawing upon personal experiences when writing is almost instinctual “These songs all hold a place in my heart, and to get to share them with the world, knowing that they may offer a little comfort and reassurance to those listening, makes them all the more special to me”.
