Amy Sheppard will launch her podcast ‘Couple Goals’ alongside her husband Lachlan Stuart on October 10 – their first wedding anniversary.

Sheppard shared on social media, “We are excited to have you listen in as we chat about our week, share our pet peeves, and set each other some “couple goals” to strengthen our relationship and keep each other sane. Expect to laugh, empathise, and nod your head profusely whilst relating challenges most couples go through.”

The idea for the exciting new project came after strong feedback to Sheppard recording a couple of episodes with Stuart for his ‘The Man That Can Project’ podcast, whose mission, according to its official website, “is to empower men to take ownership of their lives… without the bullsh*t.”

You can find out more about ‘Couple Goal’ via their Instagram page here.

As well as her podcast endeavours, Sheppard recently appeared in body-image advocate Taryn Brumfitt’s documentary, Embrace: Kids, alongside other celebrities like Celeste Barber, Alex Noble, Jameela Jamil, and Electric Fields and released her debut EP, Nothing But Wild.

Inspired by her country music upbringings, listening to the likes of The Chicks, Shania Twain, Faith Hill and LeAnn Rimes, Sheppard spent the past three years writing and building towards her solo release, which features the title track, which peaked at #3 on the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart, and follow-up single, Blue Guitar, which currently sits at #13.

While definitely not her first foray into the genre, previously already a Golden Guitar Award winner for her vocals on Lee Kernaghan’s Spirit of the Anzacs, Sheppard has previous experience writing and singing with artists like Kasey Chambers and The Wolfe Brothers and opening for Keith Urban. She is also currently working on the fourth album with sibling band Sheppard.
