Amy Sheppard has announced she’s expecting her first child, sharing the news in an emotional and heartfelt post that shines a light on the highs and heartbreaks of her long IVF journey.

In a deeply personal message shared to Instagram, Amy wrote:

“It’s darkest right before the dawn and we are beyond overjoyed to announce that the sun has finally come out for us. ☀️🌞 Stuart Little will be arriving February 2026! After years of waiting, yearning, and heartbreak, with the help of science and some truly incredible doctors and nurses, we’ve been blessed with the most precious gift.”

The announcement, accompanied by glowing photos of Amy and her husband Lachlan Stuart, marks a joyful turning point after years of trying to conceive. The couple, who have been open about their struggles with infertility, chose to share their IVF journey publicly, breaking the silence that still surrounds fertility issues and offering comfort to those navigating similar paths.

Amy’s message was as much about empathy as it was celebration. “We also understand that pregnancy announcements can be painful for some, and our hearts are with those still waiting. Please know we’re holding you close in our thoughts, and though this news may be bittersweet, we hope it brings even a small spark of hope or light to what might feel like a dark place. 🤍”
