Amber Lawrence Releasing Bonus Edition Of 'A Very Aussie Aussie Christmas' This Week

On Friday (3 November), Amber Lawrence will share the re-released bonus edition of her Christmas album, A Very Aussie Aussie Christmas, adding four new tracks to the tracklist of beloved festive classics.

A re-release of her 2017 Christmas album, Lawrence has been teasing the release in the lead-up to Friday. On Monday (30 October), the singer wrote on Facebook, “I know i know it’s only OCTOBER! But the re-released A Very Aussie Aussie Christmas - Bonus Edition is out this FRIDAY! 4 new songs plus the old faves too”.

She added, “We’re packing and sending tomorrow and you can grab the album only or a stubby cooler too! OI OI OI. GET AHEAD OF CHRISTMAS RUSH”.

As for the new songs that have been added to the tracklist, Lawrence has offered up her cover of Wham!’s classic, Last Christmas, and another three Christmas essentials: Jingle Bells, Rudolf The Red-Nosed Reindeer, and Jingle Bell Rock. You can check out the 15-song tracklist below.

Lawrence’s A Very Aussie Aussie Christmas re-release follows her recent single, Live A Country Song, a cheery track anyone who loves country music will likely see themselves in.

Co-written with Nick and Tom of The Wolfe Brothers, the trio wrote the song after discussing why country music often follows the same themes.

According to a press release, the trio eventually found the answer and addressed it in the song. It’s “because we love everything about it, we live and breathe it, we write it, and we sing about it, and we hope you get to live your very own country song!”
