All Charges Against Chris Young Dropped Ahead Of CMC Rocks
Charges of "disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assaulting an officer" against Chris Young have been dismissed.

Chris Young has been cleared of all misdemeanour charges he faced following his arrest in a Nashville bar last week, People reports.
Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk said in a statement, “Regarding the Chris Young incident – After a review of all the evidence in this case, the Office of the District Attorney has determined that these charges will be dismissed.”
Young’s attorney, Bill Ramsey, responded, “Mr. Young and I are gratified with the DA's decision clearing him of the charges and any wrongdoing.”
Young was arrested on Monday, 22 January, on charges of “disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assaulting an officer”, The Tennessean reported. The singer was released from custody.
According to the arrest affidavit, Young was outside the Tin Roof bar in Nashville at 8:30 pm last Monday when he allegedly began questioning Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission agents who were checking his identification.
According to the report, Young then followed the agents next door to the Dawg House. Young allegedly put his hand out and attempted to stop the agent from moving any further, “stuck” one in the shoulder and reportedly started screaming.

Young was then detained and placed in handcuffs, with the arrest affidavit claiming that the singer “had slurred speech” and “bloodshot, watery eyes.”
Days later, video footage obtained by Nick Beres from Nashville’s NewsChannel 5 surfaced on social media.
The footage contradicted the allegations in the arrest affidavit, with the video showing the singer – wearing a black leather jacket, cap and jeans – standing in line at the Dawg House bar when he reached out to an agent, who subsequently shoved Young to the floor.
Young then got up, put his hands above his head and moved away from the agents.
In a statement, Ramsey told Billboard following the viewing of the evidence: “What happened to my client Chris Young at a bar in Nashville on Monday night was wrong, and he never should have been arrested and charged in the first place.
“In light of the video evidence, Tennessee ABC needs to drop the charges and apologise for the physical, emotional and professional harm done towards my client.”
Chris Young is due to land in Australia soon to headline CMC Rocks in Queensland (alongside Lainey Wilson and Tyler Hubbard) and play two solo shows in Melbourne (Naarm) and Sydney (Eora) with special guest Bryan Martin.
In addition to his touring plans, Young recently announced his new album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, teasing it as his “largest album to date”. Young Love & Saturday Nights will be released on Friday, 22 March – a week after his CMC and solo dates.
