Adam Harvey Australian Tour Announced

One of Australia’s favourite storytellers, Adam Harvey, is hitting the road this November for a busy, expansive tour in support of his new album, Let The Song Take You Home.

Set to be released on Friday, 1 November, that’s also the day that Harvey kickstarts his tour across Australia in Port Macquarie. Writing to fans that he “can’t wait” to see them on the road, Harvey advised punters to sign up to his mailing list for first release tickets.

If you miss out on first release tickets, you can access the general public sale on Friday, 9 August.

For his tour, which spans from 1 to 30 November, Harvey will travel across the country with special guests Loren Ryan, Jenny Mitchell, Taylor Moss, and Chloe Styler.

The Let The Song Take You Home Album Tour will visit Port Macquarie, Ballina, Coutts Crossing, Wollongong, Goulburn, Moruya, and Merimbula (NSW) before heading to Morwell, Mt Evelyn, and Corio (VIC), Beaudesert, Ipswich, and Chermside (QLD). It will wrap up in Wagga Wagga (NSW) and Canberra (ACT). You can find all the venues and tour dates below.

Harvey announced the release date of his upcoming album last week and, at the end of July, dropped the new single Sail Away. The song was originally recorded by Kenny Rogers in 1978 and was a longtime favourite of his father.

"Sail Away was one of my Dad’s favourites,” Harvey explained in a press release. “Dad worked on charter boats in the Whitsundays, and he loved the ocean. I think that's where I get my love for being out on the water, and I also love this song. Every time I heard this tune or performing it live myself, I can still picture Dad singing this at the top of his voice.”
