Miranda Lambert took home the night's top prize, ‘Entertainer Of The Year’, for the first time after losing out in five previous years, but was not in Las Vegas to accept it.

"This is my first time missing the ACMs in 17 years," she said in a video message from London. "My heart is a little broken, but I'm happy to be where I am. I've been waiting for this for a really, really long time. I actually never thought it would happen. But thank you so much to the country music family for embracing me all these years and continuing to support me."

Her collaboration Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home) with Elle King was also awarded ‘Video Of The Year’.

Carly Pearce and Chris Stapleton were crowned ‘Female’ and ‘Male’ Artists of the Year, respectively.

Morgan Wallen won ‘Album Of The Year’ for Dangerous: The Double Album, a year after he was removed from the ACMs ballot after he was caught on camera using a racial slur.

"To my son, this award will signify that his daddy was a fighter, and he chased his dreams and worked hard to make them a reality," Wallen said.

Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood won ‘Single Of The Year’ for their duet If I Didn't Love You, while Lainey Wilson won ‘Song Of The Year’ for Things a Man Oughta Know. Wilson was also awarded ‘New Female Artist Of The Year’ and Parker McCollum for ‘New Male Artist of the Year’.

Brothers Osborne broke a three-year winning streak by Dan + Shay to take ‘Duo of the Year’, while Old Dominion were named ‘Group of the Year’.

The Awards night also had no shortage of performances.

Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett celebrated the show's return to its usual home city after two years in Nashville. They sang Elvis Presley's Viva Las Vegas and Faith Hill's Let's Go to Vegas.

The night also featured several collaborations, including Dolly Parton featuring Kelsea Ballerini (Big Dreams & Faded Jeans), BRELAND featuring Thomas Rhett (Praise The Lord), Jordan Davis (Buy Dirt feat. Luke Bryan), Jason Alden and Carrie Underwood (If I Didn’t Love You), Brothers Osborne and Brittney Spencer (These Boots Are Made for Walkin’), Parmalee and Blanco Brown featuring Brooke Eden (Just the Way), Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde (Never Wanted to Be That Girl), and Chris Young featuring Mitchell Tenpenny (At the End of a Bar).

Other performers included Kane Brown, Maren Morris, Walker Hayes, Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton, Eric Church, Parker McCollum and Lady A. And Kelly Clarkson performed I Will Always Love You, first written and recorded by Parton, in tribute to the host.

The ACM Awards made history as the first major awards show to livestream exclusively as it streamed live on Prime Video in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
