The second Full Moon Dance of 2025 is set for Saturday, 12th April bringing the amazing NICKY BOMBA, Kurilpa Reach, Funkatu and the incredible ANDY V together for a BIG night of LIVE MUSIC to Verrierdale Hall! Expect some big funk and roots and bush psychedelia to bring the high energy antics we’ve come to love on the Full Moon dancefloor.
NICKY BOMBA & FRIENDS
Full Moon Dance is proud to present a special performance with NICKY BOMBA. Recipient of 4 ARIA awards, legendary performer and producer, Nicky brings his own joyous celebration to the Full Moon Dance. Special guests and random local legends will no doubtedly join in the festivities so get your dancing shoes and drumming hands ready!
KURILPA REACH
An enigmatic 7-piece roots fusion band born out of Meanjin’s (Brisbane) vibrant music scene. Blending the writing sensibilities of indie rock and neo-soul with elements of roots, rock and reggae, Kurlipa Reach have established themselves as a versatile artistic powerhouse with a knack for levelling any live crowd they get put in front of!
FUNKATU
An original psychedelic, bush funk band who combine an eclectic fusion of reggae, soul, ska and hip-hop into a delightfully delicious explosion of funky goodness guaranteed to get your booty shaking! Featuring the unmistakably Aussie song righting of lyricist Louey Howell on drums & didgeridoo, Dan McCoscka on de funky bass, Hannah Harlen on sweet vocals & electric guitar & Ahva dub on synths & jazz bansuri. A great live act. This fresh outfit deliver the goods in style.
ANDY V
ANDY V will be pumping beats through the garden keeping the vibes high. Andy V is a live looping multi-instrumentalist that performs across various UK bass driven music styles, including Dub/Reggae, Latin and Drum and Bass. With his saxophone, keyboards and signature loop stations, Andy brings a highly dynamic 'one man band' show full of live looped energy and imagination. Andy will also be joining Nicky Bomba on stage for his set.
