CRYPTID DOGS (cobwebs + bossanova)

Eight birds with one stone: come hurl rocks (please don't) at Mopsy, Mergo, Ben + Luka Buchanan, Glimmer, Front Yard Horse, Rocks + Rhubarb to celebrate Symmetrical Dogs and Cryptids new singles.It will be a night of mass experimentation, chaos, and calm. Expect uncut folk, true alt, expletives, and synths, synths, synths. CRYPTID DOGS is being held in Walyalup, on unceeded Whadjuk Noongar Boodja. 'Bossanova' is the third installment of the upcoming, debut ep 'Birthday Rabbit Foot Wish'.'Cobwebs' is in many ways the emotional heart of the album. Broadly, it is a song about struggling with mental illness and the resulting challenges on your relationship with yourself and others. Musically it was a very collaborative effort, and has been through extensive changes, from its concept stages to now. We are really proud of this song both musically and lyrically and for how it's helped us grow as a band and people. It's also the song we spent the most time on in the studio, and were stoked with how it's turned out. Can't wait for you to hear it.
