Australian country artist Robbie Mortimer is bottling the energy of one of country music’s biggest stages with the release of the official live video for Cold Beer Here, filmed during his debut appearance at CMC Rocks QLD earlier this year.

Premiering today, the clip captures Mortimer performing the track to a packed crowd at the iconic festival in March, a full-circle moment for the rising artist, whose profile has continued to climb rapidly throughout 2026.

“I’ve been on the ferris wheel, I’ve been drunk there, I’ve fallen over on that thing, I’ve taken photos of that, I’ve thrown up in that toile-nah” he laughs in the video clip.

Written by Brad Cox and featured on Mortimer’s EP Notes From A Very Loud Mind, Cold Beer Here has quickly become one of the standout tracks in his live set. The new video leans heavily into the atmosphere of the performance itself, showcasing thousands of fans singing along as Mortimer takes in the scale of the moment.

For the rising star, the performance was one he won’t forget anytime soon.

“Standing on that CMC Rocks Stage singing 'Cold Beer Here' and hearing thousands of people sing it back was one of those moments you dream about as a kid. It reminded me why I fell in love with country music in the first place, bringing people together, forgetting life for a few minutes, and feeling like you belong"

The video arrives during a massive week for Mortimer, who also delivered the national anthem ahead of the 2026 State of Origin Game I. As the son of former Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs player Peter Mortimer and nephew to Bulldogs legends Steve and Chris Mortimer, Mortimer’s appearance at Origin carried an extra emotional layer.

But music is clearly where Mortimer is carving out his own lane.

Over the past year, the country artist has steadily built a reputation for emotionally grounded songwriting but high energy live shows, with CMC Rocks marking a major turning point in that rise.

The footage in Cold Beer Here captures exactly why audiences are connecting with him - not just the performance itself, but the sense of community and shared experience country music creates in moments like these.

Up next, Mortimer heads to Wollongong for Rodeo 4 Life on May 29 and 30 before appearing at Countryfest in June, followed by performances at the Tara Camel Races, Gympie Music Muster and Savannah in the Round later this year.
