Canadian country rockers PETRIC have unveiled their brand new music video for Band of Brothers and Countrytown has the exclusive premiere.
Band of Brothers wasn’t just another song for PETRIC, it’s a track that’s been part of their story literally since day dot. It was the first song that brothers Jason and Tom Petric ever wrote together and over the years, it has become a staple in their live shows.
From dingy dive bars to the main stage at Canadian festivals like Boots & Hearts and Cavendish Beach, Band of Brothers has been played at them all.
PETRIC made the decision to re-record the track with their live touring band to capture the true essence, grit, energy and camaraderie the song has always represented. The newer recording leans further into a country rock vibe, laced with raw guitars and driving energy. The rerecord brings into focus not just the bond between the actual brothers, but between the entire band and the shared journey they’ve taken with their fans who’ve been there cheering them on from the start.
“This is the song that started it all for us,” Jason shares. “We’ve carried it with us for years, and it has grown with us over the years. I know everyone in the band is just as excited as I am to have this track out.”
The music video will leave you with some serious FOMO. The quick cuts between electrifying live footage, captures the kind of adrenaline that defines a PETRIC show. From the band’s on stage passion to the crowd’s full throttle energy, the video perfectly displays the connection between artist and audience. It sort of feels like an invitation that makes you want to check the tour calendar ASAP and find your nearest show.
