More Emily Joy More Emily Joy

Rising country-pop artist Emily Joy returns with her most confident release yet, the playful and punchy new single Give Me a Shot or Two. Equal parts cheeky anthem and barroom singalong, the track blends Nashville roots with pop sensibilities, delivering a fresh sound that’s made for turning up the volume.

Built on a driving beat, tight harmonies, and hooks that stick after one listen, Give Me a Shot or Two flips the script on the classic honky-tonk love story. With a wink and a splash of tequila, Joy takes the reins, infusing the song with sass, charm, and just enough mischief. Think Lainey Wilson meets Kelsea Ballerini with an extra dose of sass.

The title’s clever double meaning alludes both to drinks at the bar and a bold ask for a chance at love, perfect for anyone who's ever felt a spark under neon lights.

In the music video, the song’s playful double meaning comes to life. Joy locks eyes with a heartthrob cowboy as he walks into the bar and decides to take her shot, both at love and tequila. Fun, flirty, and full of charm, the video captures the bold spirit of the track and is guaranteed to leave you smiling.

After making waves with her breakout single Barricade, Joy is sure to become a force in Australia’s country-pop scene. She’s earned accolades including a spot as a Toyota Star Maker grand finalist, a West Australian Country Music Award, and support slots alongside Adam Brand

In 2024 she performed at Perth’s The Muster on the mainstage sharing the lineup with Morgan Evans and Travis Collins, and also appeared on the Perth Telethon performing her original song A Little Part Of Me, further cementing her status as one to watch.
