VIDEO PREMIERE: Bryce Sainty - 'When You Walked Into The Room'

Emerging Australian country singer Bryce Sainty has returned with the next song you’ll hear on wedding playlists.

The When You Walked Into The Room music video, premiering exclusively on Countrytown today, finds Sainty and his band playing on a pub stage during the chorus – with an engaging guitar solo played by Sainty on a Fender Telecaster – as he watches a young couple wrapped up in each other.

Containing his signature country twang guitars, the new mid-tempo track from the Aussie artist feels like a classic country song that’s been in our lives forever. You can check out the colourful music video below.

Sainty said about the song in a statement, “When You Walk Into The Room is the story of how when you meet the right person for the first time just how much an impact that can have on your life.”

Sainty’s latest single follows a massive 2022, which saw the release of his Hometown EP, and the single Sideline, released earlier this year.

Still in the early stages of his career, you wouldn’t know it with a song as refined as When You Walk Into The Room, or find out that he’s already accumulated over three million streams and has toured with Australian royalty in The Wolfe Brothers, The Whitlams’ Tim Freedman, and Andrew Farriss of INXS fame.  

“I decided that I wanted to go back to the music I fell in love with when I first got started,” Sainty said about his inspirations behind Sideline in a Countrytown interview earlier this year.

“For me, that’s all about the songwriting, the stories, and back into more pure country music. The music I’m working on now is keeping with that direction, using a lot more real instruments as opposed to synths and things like that. It’s an exciting new chapter for me.”

Sainty’s previously released single, This Summer’s The One, landed at #63 on Countrytown’s Biggest Songs Of The Year chart after peaking at #4 on the Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart.
