Self-proclaimed “yeehaw-pop” singer Chloe Styler is back with a new song, Twenty Five, following her recent releases, Time Bomb and Hometownless. Twenty Five is officially out tomorrow (10 April), but Countrytown shares an exclusive premiere today.

The video for Twenty Five finds Styler behind the wheel of a truck and taking in the countryside as she tries to hide “these insecurities”. Twenty Five is a gorgeous acoustic ballad that showcases Chloe Styler’s vocal range and storytelling abilities, channelling the relatable, messy feelings of being 25, watching friends on their separate paths and trying to find her own way.

“I don’t know what I want/ but I gotta let it all work out/ and try to hide these insecurities,” Styler sings in a particularly special a capella moment at the bridge, strumming an acoustic guitar as she muses: “That’s just life at 25”.

For her latest music video, Styler reunited with editor Jazmyn Produces, who directed the clips for Time Bomb and Hometownless.

Chloe Styler co-wrote Twenty Five with Kaylee Bell, one of Countrytown’s favourite artists, and Gavin Carfoot, a Golden Guitar-winning producer. In addition to co-writing the song, she directed and produced the music video alongside her sister, Amy, in Hervey Bay, Queensland.
