'One Of Them Nights' is out now!

More Travis Collins More Travis Collins

It’s been two years between singles for Travis Collins, but the acclaimed country music artist is back with his highly anticipated new single.

One Of Them Nights is produced by Brisbane based hit-maker Andrew Cochrane, and the stunning music video, premiering today on Countrytown, was shot against a ‘yellowstone-esq’ Hunter Valley backdrop by director Jay Seeney, of Blacklist Productions.

Collins says, "It's an unmistakeable feeling when just KNOW this will be a night to remember... It's about those rare 'royal flush' sorta nights when everything just falls your way... The right people, the right place... turning the night into life-long memories. You can't really put your finger on what it is, but there's something magic in the air. As the chorus says, sometimes it's just "One of them times, Everything's right, One of those things, One of them nights."

One Of Them Nights is the first track lifted from his forthcoming studio album, due in 2023. The album follows his 2020 release, Wreck Me, which took out the #1 spot on the ARIA Country Albums Chart, debuting in the top 10 of the ARIA Albums Chart, and landing at #4 on the iTunes Australian Albums Chart. Wreck Me also landed Collins his second ARIA Award nomination for ‘Best Country Album’, and spawned Wreck Me: Acoustic Sessions, released later that year.

Since bursting onto the scene with Start the Car in 2005, Collins has fast established himself as a leading light in Australian song. Nine studio albums later and Collins is a regular mainstage fixture at Australia’s peak country music festivals, and routinely plays to sold-out crowds across the country.

Collins’ fourth album Wired (2015) reached #1 on the ARIA Country Albums Chart and produced #1 hits Boots On and Curves, while his follow-up record Hard Light (2016) peaked at #2 on the ARIA Country Albums Chart. He was awarded the CMC ‘Male Artist of the Year’ for 2017 and 2018 and swept the CMAA Awards in 2017 on the back of Hard Light, which saw him take home Golden Guitars for ‘Male Vocalist of the Year’, ‘APRA AMCOS Song of the Year’, and ‘Single of the Year’. Hard Light also netted him three #1 hits including the stirring Call Me Crazy.

Our Backyard (2017) with Amber Lawrence secured a further three Golden Guitar wins and Brave & The Broken (2018) received an ARIA Award nomination ‘Best Country Album’. It cracked the top 20 of the ARIA Albums Chart and landed at #3 on the iTunes Australian Albums Chart.

The triple CMAA ‘Male Artist of the Year’ and CMA Global Artist Award-winner has toured alongside US megastars Tim McGraw, Luke Combs and Billy Ray Cyrus, and recorded with Nashville’s best and brightest, including super-producer Luke Wooten. He will also support Midland on their The Last Resort: Greetings From Tour this December.

Recent years have seen Collins expanding his sound, songs, and live show still further, promising even bigger, better, and brighter things ahead – both onstage and in the studio. He also became a first time father, when his wife of ten years, Bec, gave birth to Ava Violet on October 26, 2021.
