Natalie PearsonNatalie Pearson recently released her new single Not In These Boots. The upbeat track was co-written with powerhouse Nashville based songwriter Phil Barton and fellow country artist Brook Chivell and was produced by Gold Coast producer Jared Adlam at Machine Lab Recordings.
Natalie says, “I had the best time writing this one over in Nashville. The whole vibe of the trip was inspiring, and Phil Barton just had this electric energy in the writing room that created the foundation for a really catchy pop country song. We got a bit sassy, a bit clever and very girl power. I’m loving the pop direction, and Jared did an amazing job on the production.”
The accompanying music video, which premieres online today exclusively on Countrytown, was filmed at Gold Coast Performance Centre by Nigel Jones.
Natalie adds, “We had a blast filming in this gorgeous, vibrant location, the colours just POP on screen and fits the energy of the song perfectly.”

No stranger to the stage, Natalie started singing and dancing lessons as a child, and later, performing in youth groups, choirs and children’s variety shows. Taking inspiration from popular crossover pop-country artists at the time like Shania Twain, LeAnn Rimes and Faith Hill, Natalie began writing her own music in her late teens and performing in cover bands.
She has since opened for several big hitters in the music scene, such as Lee Kernaghan, Adam Brand, Travis Collins, The Wolfe Brothers, Casey Barnes, Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont, Jessica Mauboy and Karise Eden, and has performed at Deni Ute Muster, Gympie Music Muster, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Fresh Country Music Festival, Wonderland Spiegeltent, SugarFree Country, VDM Fest, WolfeFest and Groundwater Country Music Festival.
Dynamic vocals, magnetic personality, combined with an engaging and a high energy live performance while also having the ability to strip a song back to expose the raw and emotional side, ensures Natalie is one of the most versatile live performers in Australia.
