More Petric More Petric

Following their Flirtin’ collab with Australia’s Hayley Jensen, which peaked at #23 on the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart and landed in the top 10 on the CMT Australia, Canadian country act, Petric have followed up with their punchy new single, Night Up.

Hitting heavy and loud, the summertime anthem displays a grittier, alternative side of Petric while still showcasing their signature vocals and harmonies. Following its premiere on CMT Australia last Friday, Countrytown has your exclusive first online look at the music video.

Guitarist and backing vocalist, Jason Petric says, "Night Up has an energy to it that we really wanted to capture and share with this video. When everyone showed up to shoot it that even, we knew right then and there that we had something special on our hands. It was electric."

Passion, and persistence, combined with raw talent and high expectations, has been the formula for success for Canadian country music group Petric.

Like many teenagers who have a dream of one day getting up on stage and playing their music, brothers Jason and Tom Petric (lead vocals), along with their long-time friend Jordan Day (backing vocals) have always had a fire burning inside to entertain audiences and push themselves to newer and greater levels. Hailing from Transcona, Manitoba, Petric have been fulfilling this dream and making new fans everywhere they go.

Formed back in 2014, Petric have since racked up over 15 million worldwide online streams, multiple chart-topping hit singles on Canadian country music radio, including three top 20 hits, and have won a handful of awards. They have taken their music from the small stages of hometown bars to the most prestigious festivals and venues across Canada, including the Calgary Stampede, Cavendish Beach Music Festival, Country Thunder and more.

Their album Flashbacks, alone, has more than 3 million online streams and has opened up doors to multiple international markets, earning the band their first top 35 single in Australia with White Lyin’ – which we premiered here. White Lyin’ followed their previous singles Kids and Déjà Vu.
