The Wolfe Brothers are well known for their electrifying live shows and high-energy performances, right now they’re taking a minute to recharge and revamp their music for 2025. After an intense touring schedule last year, the band is using this downtime to focus on new material and reinvigorate their stage presence. Plus with Tom Wolfe recently welcoming his third baby girl with partner Ally, it seems like the perfect time to start to prepare for the next chapter.

It’s not all total rest time though, the lads are gearing up for a busy 2025, speaking with Nick Wolfe he revealed the band is excited about the opportunity to revisit their setlist and introduce fresh songs. "We're going to sort of work on building a new show, spicing things up a bit," says Nick. "New songs are in the works, and it’ll be good to get them in the set and just give the whole show a bit of a revamp." 

This renewed focus on their performances aims to offer both the band and their loyal fans a fresh experience. The band has been touring extensively, with little time for formal practice sessions, but they are now looking forward to informal rehearsals. "Dave’s (Ruberto) coming down this week, and Tom’s coming up for a day, and we’ll get out in the shed and hammer it out for a bit," Nick continued. "It’s going to be good."

In addition to their revamped show, the Wolfe Brothers are preparing for the release of a new album, expected mid-year. "We’re just putting the finishing touches on that right now," Nick revealed. "There will be another single before that, which we’re shooting a video for this weekend. It’s a bit crazy trying to organize all the logistics right now." 

The Wolfe Brothers plan to ramp up their touring schedule toward the end of 2025. "We went really hard in 2024, touring everywhere, so we want to pace ourselves and not over-saturate," the band member added. "But we’re definitely planning to hit it hard again, especially the year after."

The icing on the cake perhaps from an incredibly large tour last year is the exciting news about their recent nominations for the Countrytown Awards. "It’s nice to have another awards angle on things in the country scene," Nick said. "The best thing is it’s fan-voted, and it’s really involving everyone. It’s exciting to be part of it all."

With plans for new music, an evolving live show, and a renewed energy for touring, the Wolfe Brothers are poised for another successful chapter in their career. Their passion for connecting with fans and creating meaningful experiences continues to drive them forward, and they are excited to see what the future holds.

"We just want to do this for as long as we possibly can," Nick concluded. "We absolutely love getting in a van and driving out to places in the bush and putting on a show. We’ve been doing this for 12 years now, and we just want to keep going."
